Revolution banana
An irresponsible choice of the multinational Del Monte, one pack of bananas one by one, is drawn criticism from the right dell'Enviromental Board of the Local Government Association, the British institution that deals with environmental sustainability. From Del Monte do know that bananas are sold individually as "energy snack to be consumed by moving" in stores, in gyms and sports centers. The price is not yet known, although it will probably be higher than the cost of a single banana bought at the supermarket. The idea is not to like almost anyone, because in times when everything is being done to reduce packaging waste, this choice goes in the opposite direction. The manufacturers defended themselves by saying that the packaging, already experienced in the States, has a soul as eco-friendly, thanks to the "technology of controlled ripening, the bananas are placed in the bags when they are still green, growing more slowly than those left outdoors, can last up to six days. " "He should say no Del Monte - he says Gary Porter dell'Enviromental Board of the Local Government Association, the body English that deals with environmental sustainability, the Daily Mail - because this is a retrograde step which will help to unleash a double problem of landfills and rifiuti"

Il ministro dell'Ambiente Stefania Prestigiacomo ha incontrato il 18 febbraio scorso il commissario europeo per gli affari marittimi e la pesca Maria Damanaki.
