Today last day of the Salone del Mobile in Milan. I wanted to do a review for a living every day to tell at least part of all the beautiful things I've seen ... but unfortunately I have not had a moment these days and so I decided to focus on certain places or objects that seem adapted to condense the impressions of those hectic days.
Thursday was the day Design of the new Brera District, I could not see every showroom but there is definitely one where I went back for the second consecutive year and continues to find magic items, you Dilmos Via Solferino. There were glass tables with the "legs" a bit special ... and objects seemingly "normal" vision, but that turned out to be something different feel ... seems to be below the vase ceramic, but it is in a rubbery material!
Also in the district of Brera, 30 Via Brera, there is the Flat Lake Well Lake will be that the company is of my party (and Padua!), but I really like their objects, have a young line and simple but special ... and, as has been furnished the Apartment, it would be quite possible be the clone of my house all nice here but I must admit I struck a bedside table ...! It seems like the opening of two mismatched drawers!
The Steam Factory ... the theme was environmental sustainability and exhibits (all very beautiful and special) have shown that creativity can indulge you with simple materials and reuse.
Here is a very simple lamp made of raw wood and a sheet of material is always natural (do not know the name but you can find all the Brico !)... but makes its effect! ( the top has the elongated shape of the face of the 'Scream Munch "..). E poi un altro materiale che ho visto in modo ricorrente a questo fuorisalone è stato il cartone a nido d'ape (che viene usato per gli imballaggi e può essere reciclato!)...con cui si possono fare dei veri e propri mobili..bellissimi!Il portabottiglie è proprio carino...
Anche in Zona Tortona c'era una particolare attenzione per i recycled materials. Below is a table and chair made from wood processing waste (from Counter www.controprogetto.it -> a very interesting laboratory). Then at Superstudio Piu struck me this lamp so special anthropomorphic ... maybe because I was immediately reminded of the lamp "animated" the Pixar logo that looks around worried ...! This lamp almost seems that you are putting " his hair "..!
Infine non ho voluto mancare di vedere le 3 esposizioni in Triennale Bovisa: "Compassi di latta", Design Positive" e "La mano del design". All'interno di "Compassi di latta" mi sono rimasti impressi dei cuscini fatti con materiale da imballaggi (quello con i pallini) con dentro del materiale "morbido" riciclato, probabilmente scarti di lana o cotone...troppo forti!
Well, this week ends with an infinite number of ideas in my head and the inspirations that I would like to realize immediately the ... 'important is the enthusiasm that this exhibition, for an object or another, has left me and all those who love design (not because it is an affectation or a status symbol, but simply because it represents the "functional beauty" in objects of everyday life). I conclude, therefore, with the slogon one of the exhibitions at the Triennale Bovisa: I am Design Positive!
